Our History

Ashley Butler began ownership in 2006. Initially starting at a smaller location, Ashley quickly realized that customer service is the key to growing a business and moved to a more prominent location.

Ashley is a Tampa native and a graduate of the University of South Florida (USF). She is very active and keeps herself busy with various activities such as playing poker, golf, and speaking to local youth.

Ashley loves adventure and has tried skydiving and canyoneering in California. However, she mostly loves traveling to new places and meeting new people. She has been featured in several news articles and radio programs. You can find more information about her on the News page.

Ashley and her wife Adrien have a son named Darian, who is a student at HCC and aspires to be a Fire Investigator. They also have a Yorkshire Terrier named Petrie. Ashley is very involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews. When she is not serving her community, she enjoys attending various sports, live music and arts performances.

Shop owner Valdis is a lifelong car enthusiast and aviation professional with nearly twenty years of experience in safety‑focused industries.

He first got into auto repair almost 20 years ago when he owned a small performance shop that focused on JDM street and track builds. He always knew he wanted to get back to running his own shop. He spent more than 15 years in commercial aviation, flying everything from turboprops to mid‑size and long‑haul jets. Over time, he served as Captain, Check Airman, and eventually Vice President of Flight Operations, training and leading flight crews while keeping safety at the center of every decision.

Now, he’s come full circle and planted roots in Clearwater with Ice Cold Air. Valdis brings an aviation‑level focus on safety, structure, and accountability to every repair, while keeping his customer service down‑to‑earth and honest. As a married father, he takes pride in treating every vehicle like it’s his own family’s ride.

Hello! I’m Travis Fleischauer, proud owner of the New Port Richey Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair Franchise based in sunny Florida, where I’ve lived for the past nine years. Originally from Kankakee, Illinois, I made the move to the Pasco County area and couldn’t be happier!

With 13 years of experience in the automotive industry, I started working at a full-service junkyard during high school. Over the years, I have taken on various roles, including parts sales, technician, and service writer. Now, I’m thrilled to become a shop owner! I have spent the last six years working as a technician at Ice Cold Air, and I am excited to continue my journey with the company as a franchisee.

On the personal front, I am fortunate to be married to my wonderful wife, Emily. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first child, which is an exciting new adventure for us as we embrace parenthood and franchise ownership. When I’m not busy with work or preparing for our little one, you can find me tinkering with vehicles or cruising on my Harley. I also enjoy spending my free time at the beach, fishing, or building fun Lego creations. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better—I look forward to what lies ahead!

With almost 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Cas has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. He began his career as a car salesman and later transitioned into the service department. Cas's passion for cars is evident, but what truly drives him is his desire to help others. 

In 2017, Casimiro became a Service Manager at Ice Cold Air. The following year, he and his wife Nancy bought the location where he worked.

Cas moved to Florida nearly 20 years ago. However, he relocated to Connecticut to take care of his late mother. While living there, he met Nancy and they fell in love. They got married in 2015 and during their honeymoon in Florida, Cas convinced Nancy to move with him to Florida for the warmer weather. Together, they have five grown children.

Nanny, Cas, and their community actively assist the handicapped and homeless with food, clothing, and companionship.

Aaron and Jessica Turner are the owners of a family business that they are immensely proud of. Aaron joined Ice Cold Air in 2015 as a Shop Manager, and after two years, he and his wife bought the same location. 

Growing up in Ohio, Aaron had always been inspired by his father who owned an Auto Repair Shop, and had nurtured a dream of owning one himself. With almost 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, he successfully turned his dream into reality. 

Jessica and Aaron have five children, and in addition to running their business, they also started a youth travel baseball organization while raising their kids. 

Jessica decided that Aaron should continue to run the day to day business at the service counter as he is well-known by their customers and Aaron is happy with this decision. He commented, "We are very proud to be role models for our children. There's no better lesson to teach them than the importance of serving others."

Shop Owner Pete Barrett brings over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry.

A Florida native born in Daytona Beach, he supports his favorite sports teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

Pete is a Classic Car Enthusiast and recently expanded his business with a  new Showroom dedicated to his Classic Car Customers. 

In addition to his expertise in the auto industry, Pete is also an experienced pilot and enjoys flying during his free time. When he isn't up in the air, he likes to spend time near the water, camping, fishing, and relaxing by the pool with his wife and son.

Franchise Owner Chris Anderson has been in the automotive industry for almost 40 years. He started his career by vacuuming cars at a quick lube during high school and eventually worked his way up to managing multiple locations in various states. 

In 2003, while on a vacation to Florida, he fell in love with FL and decided to move here permanently. He sold his house in Long Island, West Islip, and immediately relocated to the Tampa Bay area. 

Interestingly, Chris is not a sports enthusiast, and when asked about his favorite sports team, he jokingly replies, "Bacon!" He takes pride in running his business as a true "Mom and Pop" shop and is  training his son, Chris Jr., to take over the company in the future.

Chris is an active member of his local community and passionately supports multiple causes that are close to his heart.

Kevin O'Donnell became a franchise owner in 2006 and has since built an excellent reputation as a skilled mechanic with high ethical standards. As a resident of Largo, he is committed to earning the community's trust and ensuring that every customer is treated with the utmost care and attention. 

Kevin has a solid track record of providing exceptional customer service and has dedicated his career to ensuring that his customers feel secure and satisfied with their auto repair needs. 

In 1987, Kevin moved to Florida from Chicago. When he's not running his successful business, Kevin enjoys boating.

Shop Owner Mike Bansavage, moved his team to the current location in Largo from the previous one at US19 & SR580, where they had been situated for many years, on January 1st, 2022. 

Mike has been passionate about cars and motors since high school and has his own fleet of vehicles, including a Jeep, a '66 Plymouth Belvedere II, a '59 Ford F100, and three Harleys.

A Florida native, Mike loves living here and supports the Bucs, Lightning, and Rays. His favorite sport is college football, and he is a proud fan of the Florida State Seminoles. 

Mike has two grown children who he is very proud of. When he is not at the shop, he enjoys boating, fishing, "Jeeping," and working on his own cars.

Shop Owner Rick Campbell has an extensive background in the automotive repair industry, with over 40 years of experience. His family has a long history in the automotive industry, dating back to 1929. 

Although he is not originally from Florida, he has been living here since 1990, after relocating from Richmond, VA. 

Apart from his passion for cars, Rick is also a huge sports enthusiast. He played college and professional baseball and has coached many teams. 

When he is not spending time with his three children and two grandchildren, you can find him cheering for the Washington Commanders.

Bruce Kastrenakes has owned this location since 2005. He is deeply involved in the local community. In fact, his customers are drawn to his neighborhood hospitality and superior customer service. 

Although he is originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, Bruce has spent 26 years in the community, making him almost a native. His passions include golfing, his unwavering support for the Miami Dolphins (hence the hat he never parts with), and spending time with his dog. 

Bruce's two daughters are the center of his life. Both of them have completed college with their AA degrees. Recently, his daughter Savannah joined him in the business as a Service Advisor.
